Our care team and staff members represent a community of wounded healers—a unique gathering of practitioners and professionals who have survived and recovered from trauma, or have supported loved ones through personal struggles with trauma. Our team aims to carry forward a message of healing and hope to those who currently struggle.
Chief Executive Officer
Konia is an experienced C-level senior executive with a proven track record for bringing inspiration and transformation to organizations through her collaborative leadership style. As an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, who currently holds an MA in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University, and a BS in Business Administration and Psychology from Central Michigan University, Konia brings a unique blend of business and clinical expertise towards our clientele’s success through Exhale’s PTSD recovery program.
As a PTSD survivor, Jason uses his expertise in Sales, Marketing, Operations and Executive Leadership to extend a message of healing and recovery to people affected by PTSD, worldwide. Prior to cofounding Exhale PTSD Recovery Centers, Jason’s career focused on the business development of multi-state sales and operations; however, through a house fire accident, he has found his true calling to help other individuals and organizations understand the plight associated with PTSD to ultimately offer every guest a true exhale of relief.
With experience in building successful customer-facing strategies resulting in increased brand loyalty and customer satisfaction, Tammy is the ideal person to lead Exhale’s client relations team. As the spouse of a PTSD survivor, she has first-hand experience of the struggles people face with the effects of trauma every day. Through her own struggles with PTSD, she has come to understand the true benefit of recovery and now uses her skills and experiences to influence the lives of others, through her unique perspective.
Director of Finance
With a BSBA degree from Robert Morris University as well as a master’s degree in accounting from Waynesburg University, Janet gifts the Exhale business team with over 20 years of accounting and leadership expertise. However, surviving her own journey through PTSD recovery is what has brought her to the team. She believes that a level of empathy and hope must be provided to our guests in order for them to feel welcomed and supported throughout their program.
